As a highly innovative development and manufacturing company with divisions in Public Transport, Retail & Logistics, Robotics, and Software Solutions, ALMEX makes a sustainable contribution to the future.

For us, sustainability means: developing products that last a long time, are repairable, and do not need to be replaced after a short period. Our systems are manufactured to high industrial standards – for use in harsh working conditions over many years. This is active responsibility towards customers, the environment, and future generations.

With the EcoVadis certification, we make our commitment to sustainability, environmental protection, and social and ethical responsibility (CSR) transparent and comparable.

Sustainability and social responsibility are values that play an increasingly important role in purchasing decisions. This applies to all parties along the supply chain, because those who can demonstrate responsible handling of these values score points.

ALMEX was rated “Silver” by EcoVadis in 2021 for its commitment in the four areas: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

We have been a firm member since 2013 and have continuously improved since then. We are confident that we will continue to expand our commitment to social responsibility. You can count on that!

The collaborative ecovadis platform ensures the comparability (including internationally) of different management systems and standards. Furthermore, it provides sustainability assessments and tools for performance improvement for global supply chains.
The methodology is based on international sustainability standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and ISO 26000, covering more than 200 spending categories and more than 160 countries.
