We guarantee spare parts supply for many of our products for 10-15 years – in some cases significantly longer. For example, in the public transport sector, our ticketing systems have been in use for over 20 years and continue to be supplied with spare parts. Long-term availability is part of our product philosophy.
Does ALMEX also offer 24/7 support?
Yes, for critical systems (e.g., public transport ticketing), we offer 24/7 support with defined response times (SLA). Remote support via remote maintenance is also possible. For less critical applications, we offer support during business hours or flexibly by arrangement.
Can ALMEX also maintain products from other manufacturers?
Generally, we focus on ALMEX products, as we have the deepest technical expertise here. In exceptional cases and after technical review, we also take over service for compatible third-party systems – especially if these are integrated with ALMEX solutions.
How does a repair process work?
Repairs are carried out either on-site (field service) or in the service center (send-in), depending on the product. We document all repairs and continuously optimize processes.
What is obsolescence management?
Obsolescence management means that we recognize early on when components (e.g., chips, displays) disappear from the market. We then look for replacement components, adapt designs, or manufacture remaining stocks. In this way, we extend the product life and avoid expensive complete new acquisitions.
Can I conclude service contracts?
Yes, we offer tailored service contracts: from annual maintenance contracts to full-service packages (including spare parts, repairs, updates). We create offers suitable for your requirements and budgets.
