How ALMEX MANUFACTURING works
Our approach
Structured, transparent, and always with a focus on quality and efficiency
Industrialization planning
Joint analysis of manufacturing requirements, systematic evaluation of product designs regarding manufacturability (DfM/DfA), selection of optimal manufacturing sites and production processes. We plan costs, capacities, and timeframes transparently.
Prototyping & process validation
Manufacturing of initial prototypes to validate manufacturing and testing processes. Production workflows and quality criteria are tested and specifically further developed based on the results before the transition to series production occurs.
Tool & jig construction
Development and manufacturing of product-specific tools, jigs, and test adapters for efficient and reproducible series production. Continuous optimization takes place iteratively along the processes.
Series start-up & ramp-up
Structured ramp-up of production from pre-series to series production. The ramp-up is closely monitored, quality indicators are tracked, and processes are adjusted in a controlled manner if necessary. The status is transparent across all phases.
Continuous series production & optimization
Stable series production with defined quality assurance, regular audits, and continuous process optimization (CIP). Insights from the field and lifecycle support flow specifically into the further development of products and associated production processes through close integration with ALMEX SERVICES.

Frequently asked questions about ALMEX MANUFACTURING
What does ALMEX MANUFACTURING include?
ALMEX MANUFACTURING covers the entire production chain: Global Plants (worldwide manufacturing sites), Production Machinery Parks (modern CNC, SMD assembly, assembly lines), Quality Assurance (quality assurance according to ISO standards), Prototyping to Series Production (seamless transition from prototype to series), and Industrialization Skills (manufacturing optimization, cost efficiency). We manufacture your products to the highest quality and deliver worldwide.
Where does ALMEX manufacture?
We have manufacturing sites in Europe, including Germany, but also at multiple locations in Asia. We choose the optimal location depending on the market, quantity, and customer requirements. This allows us to shorten delivery times, optimize logistics costs, and meet local requirements.
What quantities can ALMEX manufacture?
We manufacture from small series to large-scale production. Through our own production facilities, we can scale flexibly – from prototypes and pilot series to mass production. Customer-specific quantities of any size are no problem.
How is quality ensured at ALMEX?
We work according to ISO 9001 quality management and other manufacturing-specific standards – and rely on comprehensive quality controls: Incoming Inspection, In-Process Control, Final Inspection (before delivery), and Traceability. Every product undergoes defined testing procedures.
Can ALMEX also take over and manufacture existing products?
Yes, we also take over the manufacturing of existing products (Contract Manufacturing). The prerequisite is complete technical documentation, bills of materials, and manufacturing instructions. We optimize manufacturing processes upon request and reduce costs without compromising quality.
How fast can ALMEX produce?
Thanks to a large number of production facilities and well-established supply chains, including experienced global sourcing for components, we are faster than many competitors. Prototypes can be manufactured within weeks. Small series often start within 4-8 weeks after approval. Large-scale series require longer lead times (8-12 weeks).
What manufacturing processes does ALMEX use?
We use modern manufacturing processes: CNC machining (milling, turning), SMD assembly (automated electronics manufacturing), 3D printing (prototyping, small series), injection molding (plastic housings), assembly & integration (manual and automated assembly), as well as testing (functional tests, burn-in).
Can I visit the production site?
Yes, with pleasure! We invite customers to visit our production sites and see our manufacturing quality for themselves. Contact us for a viewing appointment – transparency is important to us.
