What exactly is ALMEX Build to Run?
ALMEX Build to Run is our holistic approach that covers the entire product lifecycle – from the initial idea to long-term operation. It consists of four Performance modules: CONSULTING (strategy & architecture), ENGINEERING (development & validation), MANUFACTURING (production & scaling), and SERVICES (operation & maintenance). PROJECTS coordinates the entire process across all modules.
Who is Build to Run suitable for?
Build to Run is suitable for all companies, regardless of industry, that want to develop and industrialize innovative products. Typically, our customers are looking for a reliable partner for the entire product lifecycle.
Do I have to use all Performance modules?
No. You can use individual services or take advantage of the entire Build-to-Run process. If you already have a finished concept, you can start directly with Engineering. If you only need manufacturing, we offer Manufacturing as a standalone service. To round off your own product portfolio, we can support you with Consulting and Services – and also with Project Management. The strength lies in the flexibility of all areas.
What does a Build-to-Run project cost?
Costs depend on the project scope – the complexity of the solution, the quantity, and the desired service modules. In the Consulting phase, we create transparent business cases with clear cost structures. Contact us for a non-binding initial consultation and individual cost estimates.
How long does a Build-to-Run project take?
Project duration varies depending on complexity: A simple product can go from idea to series production within 6-12 months. Complex systems (e.g., automated solutions with certifications) require 12-24 months. However, due to our in-house manufacturing, we are exceptionally fast compared to competitors.
Where is Build to Run manufactured?
We manufacture at worldwide locations – depending on customer requirements and market. These locations are in Asia and Europe. Final assembly often takes place at our Hanover site, allowing us to guarantee “Made in Germany” quality. As needed, we utilize international sites to shorten delivery times and optimize customs duties.
How is quality ensured with Build to Run?
