Almex awarded contract for mobile sales terminals by Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe

As part of a Europe-wide tendering procedure by Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe, Almex GmbH was able to prevail.

As part of the procedure, the delivery and commissioning of mobile sales terminals for LVB vehicles were put out to tender. Almex GmbH will now deliver the first devices of the new system solution of mobile sales terminals, incl. device software and back-end system, from the first half of 2024.

Until then, further implementation details will be specified in the specifications. The plan is for the new mini.cashless mobile sales terminals to be designed for contactless payment as well as the standard VDV-KA functionalities used in Leipzig.

This means that LVB is also responding to the current customer trend toward purely contactless payment methods in order to speed up and simplify the purchasing process for customers.
