Senior Software Developer (m/f/d) for Kotlin and Java

Detailed information

Your tasks:

You will independently and quality-consciously develop software for our platform based on the UnifiedPOS standard

You will actively contribute to cross-team communication and support the integration of modules into our existing software landscape

You will design technical concepts and sustainable software solutions for our platforms in the Public Transport sector in a structured and practical manner

You will collect, analyze, and document requirements in technical software development projects in a targeted manner

You will reliably manage and continuously develop our automated build processes based on GitHub and contribute your own optimization ideas

Your profile:

You hold a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a comparable qualification

You have strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java and routinely apply both technologies in development

You ideally have experience in C++ and Windows and apply it as needed in a complementary capacity

Unit tests with the JUnit Test Framework are an integral part of your clean and sustainable software development approach

You confidently, purposefully, and supportively use AI tools like Claude and Codex in the development process

You are familiar with network protocols and network services and understand their interaction in distributed systems

Container technologies like Docker, monitoring with Grafana, and microservices architectures are familiar to you

You think analytically, work in a structured manner, and enjoy solving technical challenges

You communicate confidently in German (at least C1 level); you are also proficient in English in a professional context
