Almex wins contract for mobile sales terminals at Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe

Almex GmbH has been successful in a Europe-wide tender procedure of the Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe.

As part of the procedure, tenders were invited for the supply and commissioning of mobile sales terminals for LVB vehicles. Almex will now deliver the first devices of the new system solution of mobile sales terminals including device software and background system from the first half of 2024.

Until then, further implementation details will be specified in the specifications. It is planned that the new mini.cashless mobile sales terminals will be designed for contactless payment as well as standard VDV-KA functionalities that are used in Leipzig.

LVB is thus also focusing on the current customer trend for purely contactless means of payment in order to speed up and simplify the purchasing process for the benefit of customers.
