These offer convenient destination selection options through a large-format map view. In addition to cash, the new terminals also accept debit and credit cards, as well as smartphone payments.  <\/p><p>In the HVV service centers at Hauptbahnhof and Barmbek, the slim &#8220;cashless variants&#8221; of the machines have also been installed. They resemble large smartphones and will also be set up here as part of the renovation of the HVV service center at Johanniswall. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div id=\"e-n-tab-content-360526442\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"e-n-tab-title-360526442\" data-tab-index=\"2\" style=\"--n-tabs-title-order: 2;\" class=\" elementor-element elementor-element-b81e6d7 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"b81e6d7\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-beab7c0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"beab7c0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Parallel to the ongoing equipping, the next 150 self-service terminals are currently being produced and will be delivered starting in spring 2021. By the middle of next year, a total of approximately 200 machines will have been upgraded at all U-Bahn stations. <\/p><p>HOCHBAHN currently operates around 400 machines in total. The decision on whether the remaining machines will also be upgraded will be made next year. Online ticket purchases via the HVV app, hvv switch app, and online shop have been steadily increasing for some time.
